Acts of Love
Compassion was a word that was used often in the Bible to speak to the heart of Jesus. Often, it was used because He recognized their need for Him as their Savior. But in many places, it was used to describe His genuine care for them as individual people—compassion to heal the sick, compassion to give a blind man sight, compassion to feed those who were hungry.
Christ-like compassion, is the motivation behind all we do at Compassion For Life. For us, the word is a verb. Christ did not come just preaching about salvation. He put action in all that He did while He was here on Earth. We believe that our role is to model that compassion to the underserved and underprivileged throughout the world. We strive to put love into action by helping to provide the basic needs for life—things like water and food, an opportunity to provide for themselves, education, and giving hope for the future.
